Martial's Kenpo Karate was established in Garden City, Kansas on April
1st in the year 2000. Founder, Grand Master Angel G. Martial, opened
the school bringing with him (from California) over 40 years of wisdom
in the art of Kenpo. His experience as a successful martial arts
business owner has brought Grand Master Martial a respected name in
the community and its surrounding areas for his genuine lineage in the
martial arts, traditional teaching methods, and positive guidance for all
of his students.
Within its first three years, Martial's Kenpo Karate became an
outstanding martial arts school that continues to turn out new talent both
in and around Southwest Kansas. Our organization creates champions
at all levels, from local to national status. But building champions is only
one of the many things that we do here at M.K.K.! We pride ourself in
helping students build personal qualities like character, self-esteem,
and self-confidence and give each student an opportunity to better
themselves at school, home, and work.
As a dedicated disciple and follower of his father, Mr. Juan A. Martial,
now keeps the Martial legacy alive as the new owner and Head
Instructor of Martial's Kenpo Karate. His goal is to continue teaching the
art that was taught to him by his master, and fulfill the expectations of his
father, by keeping the school alive for years to come.
Although new ownership has been granted, there will only be one Grand
-Master and he (Master Angel G. Martial) will forever be Martial's Kenpo
Karate.

Mr. Martial was given intense mental and physical
training in the traditional ways of Kenpo Karate by his
father and instructor: Grand Master Martial. This
opportunity has helped him remain true to the honor
and respect for the system that has sadly been lost
and forgotten by many other practitioners over time.
Under his Master's guidance, Juan was able to
continue in his father's footsteps and open a full time
martial arts school thus making his passion for the art
a successful occupation.
In May of 2009, Grand Master Al Tracy of the Tracy
System of Kenpo awarded Mr. Juan A. Martial the rank
of Yodan (Fourth Degree Black Belt). His Journey in
the arts continue to this day at Martial's Kenpo Karate
in Garden City, Kansas.
